Peter Geiger, Executive VP, Special Markets Group

Peter was named the YESAA (Young Executives Specialty Advertising Association) 1994 Young Executive of the Year. He served on the PPAI Board of Directors, class of 1992, as well as on PPAI Awards, Membership Services and Marketing Committees.

He served as chair of the Maine State Board of Education, is current chair of the Maine Coalition for Excellence in Education, and inspired the Business/School “Adopt-A-School” partnerships in Maine.

His support for education in his home state is legendary and has led to his recognition as the Distinguished Service Award winner from both the Maine School Superintendent’s Association and the Maine School Board Association.

He received the Jefferson "Award for Volunteerism," as well as a "Point of Light" recognition from President George Bush in 1991.
